Curryer, his wife Sarah E., John H., and Myrtle M. Curryer. Lydia was born in Iowa of parents who were born in Canada (father) and Ohio (mother). She has lived in Minnesota five years and St. Paul two years. No occupation is listed for her. [JCCu 01.]
In a letter received from Florence Anne Fort Welch Stevenson, November 17, 2005, the following is quoted: "For the McKowan line I found a faded old news clipping of Leona McKowan's wedding. (no date is given.) St. Paul Pioneer Press: Miss Lydia Leona McKowan, daughter of Mrs. E. P. McKowan, and Alauson M. Curryer of St. Paul were married at the residence of the bride's mother on Nourse Street...She was accompanied by her brother J. W. McKowan...Mr. and Mrs. Curryer will be at home after December 15th on Nourse Street, St. Paul." Master Ernest Brimmer, nephew of the bride and Miss Josephine Brimmer, a little niece of the bride, were participants in the wedding party. Also Mabel Pierce (Dale Lange's grandmother) assisted in hospitalities following the service..." [FAF 03.]

On 26 May 1930, Lydia Leona McKowan Curryer dies. The death notice in the Los Angeles Times reads: May 26, 1930, Mrs. Lydia Leona Curryer, wife of A. M. Curryer and mother of Mary and Alanson M. Curryer Jr., and Aunt of Richard Dix.
