He is a seven year old, white, single male. He was born in the month of October, 1892. He had attended school for eight months. He was born in Wisconsin of parents who were born in Germany (father) and Wisconsin (mother). He lives with three other siblings: Fredric, Alma, and Elsie. Although he has been in school, there is no indication that he reads, writes, and speaks English. [RJA 02.]
             In the 1905 Wisconsin State Census, Adolph R. Arndt is a 12 year old, white, single male. He was born in Wisconsin of parents who were born in Wisconsin (mother) and Germany (father). Nothing further is indicated about him, except that he lives with his parents, Rudolph and Mathilda, two brothers, Fred and Edward, and two sisters, Alma and Elsie. The family lives in Fairchild, Eau Claire County, Wisconsin. [RJA 06.]
             In the 1910 U. S. Federal Census, Adolph R Arndt is a 17 year old, white, single male. He was born in Wisconsin of parents who were born in Germany (father) and Wisconsin (mother). He speaks, reads, and writes English and is not in school. He has no employ outside the home. He lives with his parents, Rudolph and Mathilda, and four siblings (Fred, Alma, Elsie, Edward) in Fairchild, Eau Claire County, Wisconsin. [RJA 05.]

             In the 1920 U.S. Federal Census, Adolph, the son of Rudolph and Mathilda, lives with his parents in Fairchild Township, Eau Claire County, Wisconsin. He also lives with a brother, Edward A., a sister, Elsie, and a niece, Ruth E. Arndt. He is a white, 27 year old, single, male. He speaks, reads, and writes English. He is a farmer, working on his own account, on the home farm. He was born in Wisconsin of parents who were born in Germany (father) and Wisconsin (mother). [RJA 03.]
             On January 29, 1980, the following obituary was probably printed in an Augusta newspaper. It reads as follows:
             Adolph Arndt
             AUGUSTA -- Adolph Arndt, died Monday at Augusta Nursing Home.
             He was born in the town of Fairchild, Eau Claire County, and married Augusta Sperber Nov. 17, 1920 at Hay Creek. They farmed in the Augusta area until moving to Augusta in 1952.
             Survivors include a sister, Alma Lange, Fairchild; a brother, Edward Arndt, Mount Vernon, Wash.; nieces and nephews.
             Service will be a 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Grace Lutheran Church, August, with burial later in Fairchild Cemetery.
             Friends may call from 2:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and until 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Anderson Funeral Home, Augusta, and one hour before services at the church. [AA 03.]
