    •        In the 1920 U.S. Federal Census Kathryn Poe is the wife of Frank A. Bonebright. she is a 32 year old, white, female, married to Frank for five years. She was born in Illinois of parents who were born in Kentucky (father) and Tennessee (mother). She reads, writes, and speaks English. At this time, she did not have an occupation. [FAB 06.]
             In the 1930 U.S. Federal Census, Kathryn L. (Poe) Bonebright lives at 222 Ohio Street, 2nd Ward, Webster City, Boone Township, Hamilton County, Iowa. She lives with her husband, Frank. She is a white, married, 52 year old, female. She was married when she was 23 years old. She reads, writes, and speaks English. She was born in Illinois of parents who were born in Virginia (father) and Tennessee (mother). [FAB 09.]
             "Dies After Long Illness.
             Mrs. Frank A. Bonebright died at her home at 6:30 p.m. after a long illness. She had been in failing health for the past eight years and had been bedfast the past two months.
             Private funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the home and burial will be made in the family burial grounds just south of the house. Dr. Effie McCollum Janes will officiate. Foster's is in charge.
             Mrs. Bonebright leaves no immediate relatives, her parents and sisters and brothers having preceded her in death.
             Katherine Poe was born in Illinois, but came to Webster City after she grew to young womanhood. She was a milliner for a time and then kept house for the late J. D. Sketchley until her marriage, December 28, 1905 to Frank A. Bonebright. He was a son of Sarah Brewer Bonebright, daughter of Wilson Brewer, first settler in Newcastle now Webster City. The family came her in 1848.
             Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Bonebright lived in Webster City all of their married life. Many years ago they moved in the old home place, now known as the Pioneer farm on south Superior street, and made their home with Mrs. Sarah Bonebright until her death.
      Frank A. Bonebright died in 1934 and his wife, who was in failing health, continued her residence there being cared for by Mrs. Myrtle Long." [KPoe 01.]
             NB: With this obituary is a date of September 09, 1939. I do not know if it is the date of death or the date of publication of the obituary. Thus, I have indicated 1939 as the year of death. This date is on the marker in Brewer Park of the date of Katherine Poe Brewer's death.
