Caroline lives with her husband, Frank, and a border, Willard Lewis, all of whom live at 262 Waugoo St., Ward 2, Oshkosh, Winnebago County, Wisconsin. [WFP 09.]                             AN OBITUARY        Daily Northwestern,Oshkosh, WI        Thur. February 26, 1953, page 4        Mrs. Caroline Wolters, 70, of 262 Waugoo St., died today at 9:30 a.m. at Mercy Hospital. She had been ill about two weeks.        Mrs. Wolters was born Dec. 5, 1882, in Garden Valley, Wis., daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ernst Hoffmann. She was married to Frank Wolters, Nov. 12 1918, in Fairchild, Wis.        Shortly after their marriage the couple moved to Oshkosh. Prior to her marriage she had lived in Neenah for 19 years. Her husband died Aug. 25, 1943.        Mrs. Wolters was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a member of the Ladies Aid Society of the church and also the Missionary Society.        Surviving her are two brothers, Theodore of Milwaukee and Rudolph Hoffmann of Fairchild: two sisters, Mrs. Laura Kottke, Fairchild, and Mrs. Minnie Troehl, Augusts, Wis.: and a number of nieces and nephews.        Six brothers and one sister also preceded her in death.        Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran church. The Rev. K. R. Going will Officiate. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.        Friends may call at the Konrad Funeral Home Sunday afternoon and evening and until 11 a.m. Monday. The body will lie in state at the churh from noon and until the hour of services.
