- This information comes from an Ancestry.com Family Tree, that of Harmon Reinhardt. I have no documentation for it, but it could be correct. There is also another date for this marriage, 1878, which I also cannot corroborate. [DLL.]

Notes |
- In the 1910 U. S. Federal Census, Emeale Wacker is a 14 year old, white, single female. She was born in South Dakota of parents who were both born in Russia and who both speak German. Emeale is not in school. The census record lists her as speaking German; it is not clear if she speaks, reads, and writes English. She is also listed as a farm worker, probably employed by her father. She is not blind and is neither deaf nor numb. Because she is female, she has most likely not had any military service. She lives with her parents, Karl and Barbara, and three siblings: Fred, Luise, and Marth. The family lives in Wacker Township, McPherson County, South Dakota. [KlW 04.]

This Census Record indicates that Karl was married at age 21 and Barbara at age 20. Thus, they could have been married at 1874 or 75. Until a marriage record is found, there is some doubt as to the actual date. [DLL.}
