    •        In the 1920 U.S. Federal Census, Estella Weedman is a six year old, single, white female. She is in school. She is the daughter of Alfred and Lulu Weedman. She was born in Iowa of parents who were born in Kansas (father) and Iowa (mother). She lives with her parents, her brother, Donald E., and Marion C. Weedman, a brother of Alfred. Many Weedmans live together in the same area of Webster City. [PW 05.]
             In the 1930 U.S. Federal Census, Estella Weedman is a 16 year old, single, white female, living with her parents, Alfred and Lulu and four siblings: Donald E., Margaret M., Phyllis G., Jennette I. She is attending school. She was born in Iowa of parents who were born in Kansas (father) and Iowa (mother). She reads, writes, and speaks English. [PW 04.]
             In the January 08, 1970 issue of the Webster City Daily Freeman-Journal, the following obituary was printed:
             "Funeral services for Mrs. Hulbert Norton, 56, will be held at 1:40 p.m. Friday at the Foster Funeral home with the Rev. Marvin E. Brewer officiating and with burial in Graceland cemetery.
             Mrs. Norton died Friday evening at the Hamilton county hospital. She had been in ill health the past year.
             Estella J. Weedman, daughter of Alfred and Lulu Brewer Weedman, was born April 22, 1916, at Webster City. She was reared and educated in the Webster City community.
             She was united in marriage may 11, 1933 to Guy L. Smith, and to this union one daughter and three sons were born: Mrs. Allen (Donna Jean) LeBarge of LeClaire, Iowa, James L. Smith of California, and Raymond Smith, who preceded her in death.
             She was united in marriage May 05, 1954 to Hulbert Norton and with the exception of three years, when they resided at Davenport and two years at Mountain Grove, Mo., they had always lived in Webster City.
             In addition to her children, she is survived by her husband; eight grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Lulu Weedman of Iowa Falls; one brother and three sisters, Donald Weedman, Carterville, Ill., Mrs. Frank (Margaret) Strachan of Chesterton, Ind., Mrs. Hank (Phyllis) Fister, Iowa Falls, and Mrs. Willima (Jeannette) Osbourne, Beloit, Wis., and several nieces and nephews.
             She was preceded in death by the one son, Raymond, her father, and one brother, who died in infancy.
             Mrs. Norton was baptized in the Christian faith." [EW 02.]
