  [It is not possible for me to order a death certificate for Myron Sheets to determine his father and mother and a specific birth date or place. Further, I am extremely skeptical of information that is placed on the Internet. However, A Jerry Smith at js2921@earthlink.net has placed information into Ancestry.com which provides information that I am not allowed to receive. That information indicates that Myron was the son of Martin Miletus Sheets, b. 9 June 1847 in Auburn, DeKalb, Indiana and Ellen Janett Powell, b. 9 September 1846 in Farmer, Defiance, Ohio. The information also indicates that Myron's middle name is Frederick; that he was born 8 May 1876 in Lineville, Wayne, Iowa. Some of this information will be verified by means of census records, but the exact information is not available to me. [DLL]        In the 1880 U.S. Federal Census, Myron sheets is a four year old, white, single, male. He was born in Iowa of parents born in Indiana (father) and Ohio (mother). He lives with his father (M.M.), a furniture dealer and his mother (Ellen J.) who is keeping house in Lineville, Wayne County, Iowa. In addition to Myron, there are two other sons of M. M. and Ellen in the household; they are Ira C. and William A. [MFS 01.]        In the 1900 U.S. Federal Census, Myron F. Sheets is a 24 year old, white, married male. He is married to Ella B. Bonebright. They do not have any children at this time. He was born in Iowa of parents who were born in Indiana (father), and Ohio (mother). He is a real estate agent. He was not unemployed in 1900. He reads, writes, and speaks English. He is renting a home. He lives in Cass Township, Guthrie County, Iowa. [MFS 02.]        In the 1910 U.S. Federal Census, Myron F. He reads, writes, and speaks English. He is a timekeeper at a smelter (as best I can read the census record). The census record indicates he was born in Missouri (Iowa) and that his parents were born in Indiana (father) and Missouri (mother - actually Ohio). He reads, writes, and speaks English. He is a mail carrier on a rural route. He is working on his own account. He owns his own home, free and clear. [MFS 04.]        In the 1930 U.S. Federal Census, Myron F. Sheets is a 54 year old, white, married male. He was first married at age 24 to Ella B. Bonebright. He was born in Iowa of parents who were born in Indiana (father) and Ohio (mother - not Missouri). He reads, writes, and speaks English. He is a government mail carrier with a mail route. He was actually at work during the day of this census. He is not a veteran of any U.;S. military forces. He lives with his wife and three of his children (Meridith M., William F., and Eleanor J.) in East Phoenix, Jackson County, Oregon.        Also living in the household is a boarder by the name of John Snow. John is a 23 year old, white, single male. He reads, writes, and speaks English. He was born in Washington state of parents who were both born in Minnesota. He is a laborer in an orchard.
